Next concert is a collaborative project with the women’s choir
Concerto Della Donna and the ensemble Musica Orbium in the performance
of the powerful Christmas cantata Hodie (This Day) by the acclaimed
English composer Ralph Vaughan Williams.
"Based on biblical texts interwoven with poetry, Hodie combines the spirit of a great Christmas cantata with elements drawn from popular music. It is a work full of invention and excitement,” said Patrick Wedd, the artistic director and conductor of Musica Orbium.
For the first part of the concert, each ensemble will present works of their own choice.
