James Roberts has been a member of I Medici for the past 15 years. He studied horn with Martin Hackleman at the University of British Columbia in the 1980s and more recently has studied with John Milner of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra.  An avid amateur musician, James plays with several amateur orchestras in Montreal and also enjoys playing chamber music with other members of I Medici di McGill.  In his professional life, James is Assistant Director General of Accessibility and Digital Enterprises at the National Film Board of Canada, where he has worked for the past 26 years.
