Vanessa Russell was born in Montreal in 1990 and has studied with Catherine Walker, Denis Brott and Guy Fouquet at the Conservatoire de musique de Montreal. For the past three summers, Vanessa worked with Hans Jørgen Jensen at Meadowmount Music Camp in upstate New York. Vanessa is now undertaking a Licentiate Diploma at the McGill Schulich School of Music with Elizabeth Dolin.
