Next concert of I Medici di McGill is a benefit for Montreal General Hospital Auxiliaries. It is taking place under the baton of I Medici's music director Maestro Iwan Edwards, on November 30, 2009 in the Church of St. Andrew and St. Paul, 3415 Redpath Street, Montréal, at 8 PM. On the program are two works by L. van Beethoven: Coriolan overture and the violin concerto, featuring Emmanuel Vukovich, renown young violinist, graduate of McGill Faculty of Music in the class of Professors Denise Lupien and Andre Roy. He is the winner of the first Schulich Golden Violin Award. This is his second appearance with I Medici. The program concludes with three movements from Bizet’s Jeux d’enfant suite.
