Seth Andrew Darst
Seth Darst obtained a Ph.D. in chemical engineering at Stanford University. After postdoctoral work at Stanford, he went to The Rockefeller University (New York) to run a research laboratory in structural biology. He is currently a Professor of Molecular Biophysics, and lives in New York with his wife, Dr. Elizabeth Campbell (also a scientist), and two daughters (Maya, age 11; Amba, age 3). Dr. Darst was recently elected as a member of the National Academy of Sciences. He's taken private piano lessons off and on since the age of 7 (depending on professional commitments, see above).
